**WATCH THE TEMP RISE DURING THE CLIP....**
***THE TEMPS ARE NOT CORRECT***....This was a brand new camera of a different brand than I had ever used before & deployed into the cave for the first week of ownership. Subsequent weeks have revealed that the thermometer is WAY OFF & not reading true. Go figure. Not what I expected …

The bats (cave myotis) have returned in numbers and this is in the same cave as my other bat/snake videos on this YouTube channel but from the opposite direction. There are an equivalent number of bats exiting from the other passage 25 feet away that you DON'T see. I estimate about 20-24K bats at this roost right now. It could very well be more...I count slow.

This is a new camera & it's first week out. The night images & resolution are so much better than the previous videos.

Pay close attention to the temperature change during the exit flight. I truly believe the camera thermometer is not that accurate and indicates a temp of 135F at the end. However, the rate of change regardless of the REAL temp is astounding. The bats seem to make their own weather when they leave like this.

The mouse at the end was a surprise to see. He's probably wondering what just happened.
